More than 4 lakh devotees throng Vaishno Devi during Navaratri; world peace yagya ends

JAMMU: More than four lakh devotees paid homage at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district during Navaratri, which ended on Saturday.
“The shrine has witnessed an overwhelming influx of devotees from across the country and abroad,” said an official from the shrine board.
The council unveiled a series of initiatives during Navaratri, including the launch of langar sewa in Ardhkuwari, enhanced healthcare facilities through Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra in Bhawan and a free 11-minute virtual darshan experience.
With Dussehra, the sacred nine-day Shat Chandi Maha Yagya organized by the shrine board for world peace, prosperity and human well-being concluded.
