Attempted robbery launched after motorcyclist was chased through Stourbridge park

An appeal has been launched to find two men suspected of attempted theft following an incident involving motorcycles in Stourbridge.

West Midlands Police have launched an appeal and released a photo of two men following the incident on August 25.

It saw a man riding a motorcycle in Stourbridge at around 2.30pm being chased by two other bikes, with the chase heading towards Mark Stevens Park and seeing the two motorcyclists try to grab him.

Police have asked anyone who was in the area at the time and may remember seeing the riders to get in touch by calling 101 or via the live chat on the West Midlands Police website.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: ‘Do you recognize these two?

‘We want to speak to them after an attempted robbery in Stourbridge.

“On August 25 at 2:30 p.m., a man was riding his motorcycle in the city when he was chased by two other bikes.

“They followed him and drove towards Mary Stevens Park and tried to grab him.

“If you were in the area at the time and remember seeing these riders, please contact us on 101 or Live Chat quoting crime number 20/784082/24.”
