Body found with gunshot wound in Buffalo Bayou along N. York Street in Houston’s Second Ward, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — An investigation is underway in Houston’s Second Ward after a body with a gunshot wound was found in Buffalo Bayou, police said.

Around 9 a.m. Tuesday, Houston police confirmed that a person’s body was spotted in the water at 901 N. York Street – an area that Buffalo Bayou runs along.

HPD said the body appeared to have a gunshot wound.

Additional information about the shooting or the victim was not immediately released.
