Nicole Kidman’s latest red carpet look could be completely inspired by her ‘Babygirl’ character

In Nicole Kidman‘s new movie, Baby girlthe Hollywood veteran plays a powerful CEO who has a sultry affair with her much younger intern Samuel (played by Harris Dickinson). And while we only know a few details about the film, which hits theaters next month on December 25, what little we know suggests it will be quite an R-rated experience.

“I’ve made some films that are quite revealing, but not like this one,” Kidman said Vanity fair in August. “It left me ragged,” she admitted. “At one point I thought, ‘I don’t want to be touched. I don’t want to do this anymore, but at the same time I was forced to do it.”

But before we see Kidman in this whole new light on screen, the Oscar winner is already showing off her sexier side at the 2024 GQ Men Of The Year Awards in London.

On the carpet, Kidman wore a bright red long-sleeved turtleneck dress from Balenciaga, per GQ. While she was quite covered in the front, the form-fitting dress had an ultra-sexy detail in the back: it was completely tied in a corset-like silk. As she walked and posed for photos, Kidman even held the end of the lace in her hands.

If you ask us, Kidman’s latest look is definitely a nod to her new BDSM-filled film. Sure, she’s completely covered up, but this is probably the most provocative look Kidman has worn in years!

Before her all-red, eye-catching look, Kidman opened up about her new role cover story GQ.

“I made (Baby girl) because I had to do this in my body of work,” Kidman said of the film. “It’s part of what I do. I have never shied away from sexuality on screen. (director Halina Reijn) wanted to make a film about liberation, female pleasure. And I wanted to do that!”

“Because I’ve done a lot of films where I was punished,” she explained. “I’ve made those films that you really don’t enjoy… These films are often very punishing. The woman is eventually thrown away, or she is turned around and made to beg on her knees.”

Instead, Kidman’s character Romy comes into the picture Baby girl takes control of her sex life and explores it to the limit. And if Kidman’s latest look is any indication of what’s to come, we can’t wait to see it!
