Pedestrian hospitalized in Denver, struck near Acoma, 12th

A crash in Denver’s Civic Center neighborhood sent a pedestrian to the hospital with serious injuries Wednesday morning, police said.

The Denver police said Officers investigated a crash involving a pedestrian near West 12th Avenue and Acoma Street just before 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Paramedics took the pedestrian to hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The crash is under investigation, but no information was available Wednesday morning about the driver or the car involved.
