There’s a 30th anniversary PS5 restock – here’s how to get your hands on Sony’s limited-edition PS1-inspired console before it’s too late

The release date for Sony’s limited edition 30th anniversary PS5 is finally here.

On Thursday, November 21, the gray PS1-inspired console – complete with the rainbow PlayStation logo – will be officially released, and PlayStation Direct is gearing up to offer customers another crack at the $500 Slim Digital Edition variant.

According to Sony, the digital edition of the 30th Anniversary PS5 will be available for purchase via PlayStation Direct at 1:00 PM Eastern and 9:00 AM Pacific.

There’s also a chance that other major retailers will restock the console, so be prepared for any last-minute deals. During the last stock replenishment, sales went live at 10am. It’s hard to say if this potential replenishment will drop at the same time, but it’s worth paying attention to.
