Man pleads guilty to manslaughter over Courtenay Place death

A man charged with manslaughter following a fatal attack on Courtenay Place in Wellington last month has pleaded guilty.

Luke Smith was attacked on the Entertainment Strip in the early hours of Sunday, October 6.

He died after his life support was removed.

Siale Siale admitted the accusation of manslaughter in the High Court in Wellington on Friday morning.

He will be sentenced on February 20.
