An express bus hit a guardrail near the Namgongju interchange on the Cheonan Nonsan Expressway in Gumsang-dong, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do, at around 3pm today (13).

The bus overturned on a hill next to the highway in an accident, and five people, including a bus driver and passengers in their 50s, were injured and taken to hospital.

Police believe the accident occurred due to drowsy driving and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
