TVM vlogger couple passed away; police suspect murder-suicide

Thiruvananthapuram: Police investigating the death of a vlogger couple in Kinaramukku, Parassala suspect that the case may be a murder-suicide. Preliminary autopsy findings suggest that Priya, 40, may have died from neck injuries possibly inflicted during a violent struggle, Manorama News reported. Her husband, Selvaraj (45), was found hanging in another room, indicating a possible suicide.

The bodies of the couple, believed to be two days old, were found on Sunday morning by their son, who had returned from Ernakulam. Authorities suspect that Selvaraj may have taken his own life after allegedly killing Priya, citing family problems as the motive.

The couple, who moved to Parassala five years ago, had a YouTube channel, Sellu Family, with more than 17,000 subscribers. Their content mainly consisted of live streams, cooking videos and daily routines. Their last video was uploaded on Friday evening and they had spoken to their son on the phone that evening. Prassala Police are investigating to confirm the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
