Possible kidnapping caught on security camera leads to search for suspects in La Vergne

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The La Vergne Police Department (LVPD) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a female victim and two suspects in a possible kidnapping incident that occurred early Saturday morning.

According to La Vergne police, the incident happened just before 2 a.m. in the 1600 block of Pearcy Street.

According to police, the incident was captured on a security camera.

According to city officials, the incident did not appear to be random and the parties involved appeared to know each other.

In addition to asking for help from the public, police have also reached out to agencies in an attempt to use facial recognition.

La Vergne police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident, including details about the suspect(s) or victim, to come forward.

“Your help is crucial to ensure the safety of the victim and arrest those responsible,” police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the LVPD at (615) 793-7744.
