Fans were shocked by Lizzo’s weight loss when the singer was a twin with her mother

Lizzo shocked fans with her dramatic weight loss during a night out with her look-alike mom, Shari Johnson-Jefferson.

The singer of ‘About Damn Time’ went to Instagram On Friday, she shared photos and a video of herself riding in the backseat of an SUV.

She wore a white off-the-shoulder crop top and jeans during the outing, and styled her hair in “milkmaid braids.”

Johnson-Jefferson, for her part, twinned with her daughter, while also rocking two braids and stunning in a leopard print jacket.

“My mom stole my haircut and ate me ,” Lizzo, 36, subtitled one segment of herself and her mother.

The “Truth Hurts” singer jokingly paired the clip with audio from “The Kardashians,” in which Kim Kardashian was heard accusing Kourtney Kardashian of copying her by getting married in Italy and having Andrea Bocelli perform at the ceremony.

Many fans in the comments responded dramatically to the hitmaker’s noticeable weight loss.

“Yo Lizzie (sic) has lost crazy weight,” one person commented, chiming in: “Wait, wait, don’t get too skinny now!!!”

“The first thing you need to lose weight is that face, hello haterssssss!!! ,” a third added.

“What a beautiful soul, you have come so far!! And I really appreciate you, you also gave me my trust! ,” another gushed.

Others suggested that the ‘Good as Hell’ singer took the celebrity’s lover with him slimming drug Ozempic.

However, her supporters rushed to her defense, with one writing: “No matter what she did, she looks good!”

Lizzo has been documenting her fitness journey on Instagram over the past few months.

In September, the Grammy winner shared a video of herself in the gym, write in the caption“IM NOT SKINNY IM FHICK (sic) .”

The following month, the former vegan gave fans insight into how she did it reintroduced animal proteins into her dietwhich she claimed has helped her slim down.

Despite the ongoing speculation, the singer has done just that denied the use of Ozempic and even joked about the rumors dressing up as the type 2 diabetes drug for Halloween.
