An Ontario man is facing charges in three cities for domestic battery, assault and resisting arrest

State police say a local man is facing charges in several cities after a domestic incident and assault.

State Troopers arrested Jacob M. Daskiewich, 29, of Ontario, after a series of incidents beginning with a domestic dispute on Route 350 in Walworth.

Daskiewich allegedly got into an argument with his girlfriend, took her phone to prevent a 911 call and stole her credit card, leading to charges of misdemeanor assault, aggravated family misdemeanor, criminal mischief and petit larceny.

Officers arrested Daskiewich at his home in Ontario, where he resisted and fought Troopers, resulting in additional charges of resisting arrest. At the Williamson barracks, he allegedly spat at officers and refused to be fingerprinted, prompting further charges of obstruction and resisting arrest.

The day before, Palmyra Village police charged him with harassment and obstruction after he refused to leave a liquor store, shoved a clerk and fought with officers. Daskiewich was remanded to prison and will appear in three courts on different dates.
