Creatives and professionals from across the country have come together around this effort to donate a wide range of goods, services, souvenirs and more. Everything from concert and festival tickets, rare original art, jewelry, various types of photography, sought-after concert prints and posters, instrumental music lessons, clothing/leather art, exclusive digital media, vinyl records, miscellaneous classes and even life coaching, an entertainment law consultation or a private dinner with a chef are up for auction, all for a worthy cause.

On the musical side, there are countless goodies that document/celebrate Beautiful lights (photos, fan art, posters, equipment, products), as well as virtual music classes with Adam Deitch and Adam Shmeeans Smirnoff of lettuce, two pairs of Suwannee Hulaween passes, tickets to Phish in Albany later this month, Joe Marcinek vinyls, autographed Bear Creek Music and Arts Festival posters and countless lessons and memorabilia from some favorite artists.

Jennifer Rodríguezwho helped organize this silent auction with friends Erin Fritts and Emily Picarthad this to say about his efforts:

“My fiance Travis and I work in production at our local music venues in Charlotte, North Carolina and beyond. Erin Fritts is the owner of Everwind Creations. Erin’s partner, Corey Ramos, who is part of the Pretty Lights Media team, helped us secure many coveted dollar donations. We could not have made such a big impact without the help of our community coming together to help us provide relief to our neighbors in need.”

“When we focused on aid recipients, we wanted to look at short-term aid and long-term reconstruction,” Rodriguez continued. “Why BeLoved Asheville? They are a hands-on organization that, at any time of day, stands with the community and carries out massive relief efforts in Asheville and beyond.

“Brother Wolf Animal Rescue has been a pillar of the community in animal rescue. They have had the shelter that was destroyed in the hurricane since 2007. They got the animals out just in time, but now they need to rebuild it. They had low-cost spay/neuter clinics as well as foster networks and were able to help so many animals find loving homes and save their lives.

“In addition to being in Asheville, (we are) focusing on helping our more rural communities that are suffering the worst of the devastation. I just had a friend who went to Swannanoa today and cried because the news doesn’t cover how absolutely horrible things are,” Rodriguez said.

The silent auction is scheduled to run until Tuesday, October 15th at 7pm ET. Help support relief efforts for our friends and family in North Carolina by bidding here, and even if you don’t win much, please consider making a donation.
