Body of missing Santaquin man found, family urges those in need to seek help: ‘Your life is of great importance’

SANTA, Utah (ABC4) – The body of a Santaquin man who had been missing since Friday, November 22, was found Sunday evening.

Tom Galloway’s family posted the update on social media shortly after noon on Monday, three days after the event The 30-year-old was reported missing. He was found in Goshen, Utah, a small town about seven miles east of Santaquin.

“The family extends their sincere gratitude to everyone who helped spread the message and joined the search for Tom during these difficult days,” the family statement read. “Your support, compassion and efforts have meant so much to them during this challenging time.”

Galloway’s family said he was the life of the group and described him as outgoing and animated. He loved musical theatre, his cats and horror films. Following his death, his family said they want to emphasize the importance of mental health and suicide awareness.

“If you or someone you know is struggling, know that you are not alone,” the family said. “Help is available, and your life matters.”

To help support Galloway’s loved ones, a GoFundMe has been set up. According to the family, all proceeds will go to Galloway’s husband and help pay for the funeral and celebration of life costs.
