Tractor driver criticized for driving through town

A tractor driver has come under fire for driving through deep floodwaters in the center of Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire.

Streets were flooded after a wall on Kyre Brook collapsed, sending a wave of water through the city.

The tractor’s bow wave hit shops and houses on both sides of the street.

Several business owners said their windows had been smashed, causing further flood damage.

AH Caldicott & Sons shared images of water bursting through the front door after the vehicle passed the storefront during Sunday’s flooding.

West Mercia Police said in a statement on Facebook that they are investigating the incident and officers will speak to people whose businesses and properties may have been affected.
