Driver injured in crash in North Belle Vernon

First responders were called to the scene of a car crash that left them trapped along Broad Avenue in North Belle Vernon on Monday around 5 p.m. NBV Fire Chief Shelby Ferguson said a vehicle driven by a 97-year-old woman overturned after hitting a parked car along the roadway in front of 825 Broad Ave. Ferguson said the woman was trapped in the car and crews had to remove the roof to get her out.
