BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) – A 24-year-old man was killed after a single-vehicle crash in Butler County early Tuesday morning.

Drewersburg Fire Department crews, along with Butler County Sheriff’s deputies, were dispatched to State Line Road at approximately 6:49 a.m. for a single-vehicle crash.

According to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, a 2008 Honda was traveling south on State Line Road when the vehicle left the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver, a 24-year-old man, was not wearing a seat belt, officers said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played a role in the crash, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

The Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Construction Team (START) was dispatched to the scene to investigate the accident.

The driver’s name has not yet been released.
