PU's Zone 6 youth and heritage festival enters day 2

Ludhiana: Debate, elocution, quiz and theatrical events took the spotlight as the Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival (Zone 6) entered its second day at GHG Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar. The topic for debate and presentation was ‘Physical education is a compulsory part of the school curriculum’ and ‘Social media activism’ respectively.
Rohit Sharma, Director (Youth Welfare), Panjab UniversityChandigarh and Varinder Singh Khosa, DSP Dakha, were chief guests of the first and second sessions respectively on the second day of the youth festival.
Sharma congratulated Principal Pargat Singh Garcha and the faculty for successfully organizing the event. He said such youth-oriented programs have inspired and awakened young minds in a positive manner.
Khosa, while interacting with the audience, emphasized the importance of organizing such events that shaped the journey of young minds. He further said that the youth festival was not just a competition but a platform for the youth to express themselves, connect with others and build a stronger foundation for their future.
