Rashmika Mandanna is known for her charm, versatility and dedication to her craft. Her role in Pushpa: The Rise marked a major turning point in her career and elevated her from a regional star to a true pan-Indian sensation. One of the big highlights of Pushpa was the chart-topping song Saami Saami, where Rashmika’s energetic dance moves and expressions left a lasting impression. Her signature step from the song became a viral trend. But a source recently revealed that during the shooting of Saami Saami during the first Pushpa film, she continued filming despite a minor sprain.

According to an industry source, “While shooting for Saami Saami, Rashmika suffered a minor sprain and despite the sprain, she completed the shooting for the song. And it turned out to be one of the most iconic songs of the entertainment industry.” Rashmika is truly a dedicated star!

This update came soon after Rashmika revealed that she had an emotional last day on the sets of Pushpa 2. She took to her Instagram Stories and shared a note, ‘Dear Diary’, and wrote down her thoughts about her last day on the sets of the movie. Rashmika looked back at the film’s five-year journey and admitted that she broke down when she wrapped up the shoot.

“Out of 7/8 years, the last 5 years I played on this set almost made this set my home in the industry, and in the end it was my last day. Of course there is still so much work left and apparently a part 3, but it felt different… it felt overwhelming… it felt like it was coming to an end,” Rashmika wrote.

“A kind of sadness that even I didn’t understand, and suddenly all the emotions came together, and the days of extremely hard work came quickly to me, and I felt tired and exhausted, but at the same time so grateful,” she added.

She expressed her gratitude to Allu Arjun, director Sukumar and everyone involved in the making of the two-part Pushpa film. Pushpa 2 will release on December 5.

On the other hand, Rashmika has some other exciting upcoming projects including Chhaava, Rainbow and The Girlfriend. She also has Sikandar opposite Salman Khan and Thama starring Ayushmann Khurrana.
