Adams returns to practice

Defensive tackle Montravius ​​Adams Sr. returned to training today but remains on the reserve/injured list designated for return.

The Steelers have a 21-day period to activate him to the 53-man roster, or he will remain out for the rest of the season.

Adams was placed on the reserve/injured list on October 22 with a knee injury. He played in seven games before his injury and recorded eight tackles, including five solo stops and one sack.

Throughout his career, Adams played in 92 games with 24 starts. He has 117 career tackles, including 57 solo stops, and two and a half sacks.

Adams was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the Packers before signing with the New England Patriots in 2021. He also spent part of the 2021 season with the New Orleans Saints before the Steelers claimed him from their practice squad.
