Three recent high school students killed in horrific Cybertruck crash

This is absolutely tragic.

Up in smoke

A group of recent high school graduates were killed in a Cybertruck inferno in Northern California.

If San Francisco’s KTVU reportsFour young people who had graduated from high school in the city of Piedmont last year were in the Tesla vehicle when it crashed into a barrier and burst into flames in the middle of the night.

Another driver reportedly pulled off the road to help after the Cybertruck crashed, and managed to pull one person from the fiery wreck. That lucky graduate survived and was taken to a nearby hospital, while the other three – none of whom have been identified by name – died at the scene.

According to local police, the Cybertruck fire was so hot and burned so quickly that the water was unable to extinguish the fire.

“The heat was just too intense,” Piedmont Police Chief Jeremy Bowers said KTVU.

It’s getting warmer

While the report did not speculate as to why the fire burned so hot, the lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles like Cybertrucks caused an uproar among firefighters.

During another fire involving one of the vehicles in Texas earlier this year – which ironically happened after the driver crashed into a fire hydrant – it took over an hour to extinguish the fire due to the high temperatures at which these mega-flammable batteries burn.

Notably, this debacle was the second Texas Cybertruck to catch fire in less than a month – and first the driver was killed.

While Cybertrucks’ crappy paint job And ignorant owners are easy to immerse, we are increasingly seeing that these low poly vehicles can be extremely dangerous. In the case of the Cybertruck fire in Piedmont, that hazard took the lives of three recent high school graduates.
