Drake celebrates son Adonis’ 7th birthday with “SpongeBob” themed photos: ‘Big Don’

Drake’s son’s 7th birthday felt like “the best day ever!”

The 37-year-old rapper’s son, Adonis Graham, turned 7 on Friday, October 11, and celebrated by throwing what appears to be a SpongeBob SquarePantstheme party – and sharing photos of father and son.

On Sunday, October 13, the “One Dance” rapper (born Aubrey Drake Graham) marked the 7-year-old’s latest milestone with a sweet Instagram post.

Drake shared two photos, featuring himself and Adonis, against the backdrop of Bikini Bottom-inspired scenery, including jellyfish and the flower-shaped clouds from the cartoon. SpongeBobthe inspired text read: “7th birthday of Adonis.”

In the first photo, Adonis — who appropriately rocked a SpongeBob-yellow shirt — he looked like his father’s mini-me, making a serious face identical to the rapper’s. The “Plano de Deus” musician, in turn, put his arm around his son.

The second photo showed the father-son duo getting a little less serious. In the photo, the pair smiled widely, Drake getting very close as he wrapped both arms around the birthday boy.

“Big Don. 💘,” the doting dad captioned the photos.

Drake shares Adonis with French artist Sophie Brussaux. After sorting out Adonis’ paternity in 2018, the two worked on their relationship and got to a good place as co-parents — with Drake even declaring himself “co-parent of the year.””on the track “Champagne Poetry”.

The 7-year-old now divides his time between living with his mother in France and visiting Drake in Los Angeles and Toronto, where the two often sit courtside together at NBA games.

Adonis was also involved in his father’s career, starring in music videos and even designing his album cover. For all dogs.

In October 2023, he also followed in his father’s footsteps, releasing his first rap song, “My Man” – and performing it at his 6th birthday party.

Earlier this year, Drake shared a photo with Adonis to mark a different holiday: Father’s Day.

In June, the “Maracujá” musician shared a series of photos with the little one, as well as his own father, Dennis. In one photo, the trio wore cowboy hats as they posed together in a field, with Adonis’ father and grandfather flanking him on either side. In another, they posed for a selfie in the car.

“Three generations 💘,” the rapper captioned the photos. “Happy Father’s Day to those who guide their daughters and sons.”
