And legendary manager Ferguson82, was seen going into the ground as he prepared to get his first glimpse of Amorim’s side.

Man Utd shared a photo of a smiling Fergie and added the caption: “European nights Sir Alex .”

He was then seen taking his seat next to experienced Scotland manager Dick Campbell during the match.

Campbell, 71, has coached a host of teams in Scotland over a period of 37 years: Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline Athletic, Brechin City, Partick Thistle, Ross County, Forfar Athletic, Arbroath and East Fife.

One fan commented on Fergie sitting next to Campbell, saying: “Dick Campbell is not the face I expected to see in this video .”

While another added: “One of the greatest football managers of all time, next to Sir Alex Ferguson.”

Man Utd recently stopped paying Ferguson’s £2 million-a-year salary as an ambassador for the club.
