BIG Scholarships:

GREAT scholarships offer students the opportunity to receive £10,000 towards tuition fees for a wide range of year-long taught postgraduate courses. This scholarship is available to students from up to 15 countries including Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.

Chevening Scholarships

Chevening scholarships are offered to students with “demonstrable leadership potential and a solid academic background.” It provides full financial support to study any eligible master’s degree at any UK university.

The Chevening Scholarship is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office and partner organizations. Candidates applying for the scholarship are selected after meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria. Your applications are evaluated by an independent reading committee, which will create a long list of candidates.

Applicants will be invited to submit references and attend an interview with the British embassy or high commission in their home country, who will assess the interview against Chevening’s global criteria.

Notably, the application period for Chevening Scholarships 2025-26 is now open and will close on November 5, 2024, at 11:59 UTC/GMT (noon UK time).

Community Scholarships:

Commonwealth Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students from Commonwealth countries who have the potential to make a positive impact on the global stage. As stated on the official website, Commonwealth Scholarships are administered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) in the United Kingdom.

The scholarship is aimed at students who are unable to study in the United Kingdom. Helps with financing postgraduate studies in various study formats.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must be a citizen or permanent resident of a Commonwealth country, must have at least an upper second class (2:1) undergraduate degree and be unable to study in the UK without a scholarship of studies.
