Hamas criticizes global silence on Israel’s ongoing crimes

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA):

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has censured US support for Israeli crimes, stressing that if the world community had not kept silent about Zionist genocidal acts, the regime would not have dared to continue its barbaric crime against the people of the Gaza Strip or extend it to the region.

Hamas made the remarks in a statement released by the Palestinian Information Center on Monday, in reaction to Israel’s airstrike on a school in central Gaza, which claimed the lives of dozens of innocent people.

“The enemy would not have dared to continue its horrific massacres in the Gaza Strip or expand them in the region if it were not for the cover provided by the US administration and the international silence on these crimes,” Hamas said in its statement.

Such an attack reflects “Israeli persistence in the brutal genocidal war against the Palestinian people,” the information center said, citing Hamas.

“The fascist policy of the occupation is based on the deliberate attack on civilians in residential neighborhoods and shelter centers,” the statement said.

In its statement, Hamas urged the international community and the United Nations to accelerate their efforts to force the Israeli regime to stop its attacks.

He also called on international organizations to bring those responsible in Israel to trial for their crimes and genocidal acts.

In the early hours of Monday, the Israeli regime began bombing the Mufti School in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

Initial reports show that 22 people were killed and another 80 were injured during the airstrikes on schools.

The regime also bombed refugee tents near Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in central Gaza, killing four people and injuring 40 others.

Some Arab media say some were killed in a fire in their tents.

Despite several UN resolutions calling for a ceasefire, Israel has ignored the demands of international communities calling for an end to the genocide in Gaza.
