Many changes and additions have been made Remake of Silent Hill 2 and one of those changes is new collectibles called Weird Photos. These polaroid images are scattered throughout the game, and while they don’t lead to a secret ending or item, collecting them all will unlock the “Unedited Pieces” Trophy and Achievement. All the Weird Photo Locations in Silent Hill 2 Remake

There are 26 Strange Photos in total Remake of Silent Hill 2all of which can be discovered during regular gameplay. This means you won’t have to worry about playing New Game+ to get this Trophy. Just know that all of these collectibles must be present in the same game to get the trophy. Here’s the full breakdown of where to find each of the Strange Photos.

Weird Photo #1 – I’m Happy

The first Strange Photo is found on the eastern side of the South Vale section of Silent Hill, near the beginning of the game. This is the first part of the city you can explore properly. At the intersection of Neely Street and Sanders Street, across from Neely’s Bar, is a closed store with a few boxes blocking the front door. Break the left window to get the Strange Photo.

Weird Photo #2 – There Are So Many People Here!

The next Strange Photo is also in South Vale and is seen sitting on the sidewalk in front of the main entrance of Wood Side Apartments.

Weird Photo #3 – Valentine’s Day

complete Music Box Puzzle and step inside Wood Side Apartment. This photo is in room 102 in the lower left corner on the first floor of the building. The photo sits on the tea tray in the living room.

Strange Photo #4 – Humble Career Beginnings

After getting the gun, proceed through the Apartments from Room 213 until you get the Room 202 Key. Use this key to unlock the door in the hallway, and then proceed to Room 210 using the balcony. The photo is on the windowsill.

Weird Photo #5 – Together Forever

complete Wooden Side Circles Money Cabinet Puzzle and make your way to the Otherworld version of Blue Creek Apartments. Proceed through the area and complete the mission Blue Creek Apartments Room 210 Bird Seesaw Puzzle To gain access to the 1st Floor. Go to the stairs on the west side of the building. The photo is on the floor to the right of the stairs.

Strange Photo #6 – How Time Passes

After completing Blue Creek Apartment Clock PuzzleThe door in the upper right corner of room 212 will open. This Strange Photo is found in this side room to the right of the door.

Strange Photo #7 – Far From Home

Leave Blue Creek Apartments and head to Rosewater Park. After meeting Maria, go through the door, get off the pier and turn right. There will be a stone bench with this photo on it.

Weird Photo #8 – I did it!

There is a garage northeast of Jack’s Inn that requires the Jack Lever found in Octantis Fuels. Use this item to enter the garage and you will find this Strange Photo under a lifted car.

Weird Photo #9 – Ready to Kill It!

Proceed along the west side of South Vale until you enter Heavens Night. Once inside, continue forward until you find a mirror with a Photo attached to it.

Strange Photo #10 – Church Entrance

Pass Heaven’s Night and go to Moonlight Grove. After a cutscene, turn left and follow this path until you find a fountain. The Strange Photo will be found here.

Weird Photo #11 – Best Taste!

Enter the Revere Theater and talk to Eddie. Once the cutscene with him is over. Go to the cinema seats section behind and you’ll find this photo.

Strange Photo #12 – Drawings

Continue the game until you reach Brookhaven Hospital. Find the Reception Office Code and repair the generator in the basement to reach the 2nd Floor. Go to the middle of the 2nd Floor and then go to the wall opposite the Storage Room to find an area through which you can enter Room L3. Go through this room to enter the Observation Room. This Strange Photo is found on a table in this room.

Weird Photo #13 – At Least It Was There

Return to Level 1 and go to Examination Room 1. Open the drawer near the right wall of the room to find this Strange Photo.

Strange Photo #14 – Nobody Knows

Complete regular Brookhaven Hospital and Meat-Lipped Boss FightYou will arrive at the Otherworld version of the facility. Go to the south corridor and destroy the weak wall to enter the Laundry and Shower Rooms. Move the dresser blocking the north door, and then move a box towards the wall of Room L3. Climb up the window to enter Room L3. Go through the Observation Room and go down to Room C5. This photo is on the dresser next to the bed in C5.

Weird Photo #15 – They Must Not Know

Proceed through the rest of Otherworld Brookhaven Hospital until you reunite with Maria. When you return to Level 1 and pass through the Pool area, stand next to the bench in the upper left corner to find this photo.

Strange Photo #16 – They Are Here

Leave the hospital and head towards the Otherworld version of Silent Hill. Make your way through the monster-filled town until you reach the intersection of Katz and Neely Streets. There is a car parked on the side of the road here. Break the driver’s side window to get this Strange Photo.

Strange Photo #17 – New Clock

After meeting Angela at Rosewater Park, head to the Historical Society. After entering the front door, go through the door on the left and you will find this Photo behind a glass.

Strange Photo #18 – Four Months Left

Enter Toluca Prison and begin your adventure. Weights and Scales Puzzle. Unlock the Headless Serpent door and overload the area’s electronics by completing the following tasks: Toluca Prison Witness Room Builder Puzzle. This will open every cell in the block, including Cell E13. You will find this Strange Photo here.

Strange Photo #19 – The Old Man Is Always Prepared

Continue through the prison and the Libra Puzzle until you enter the Pig section. Go to the Warehouse to find this Photo next to a typewriter on the table.

Strange Photo #20 – The Whole World Before Us

Complete the Toluca Prison portion of the game by beating it. Abstract Dad Boss Fight and enter the Labyrinth. Move through different areas via the cube near the Strange Wall. Head to the deserted area and work your way through the area until you reach a hexagon shaped room where Pyramid Head is chasing you. Go through the doors on the right side of the room and go up the stairs. Crawl a wall to find this Strange Photo on top of some boxes.

Weird Photo #21 – Your Best Friend!

Complete the Desolate Area and return to the spinning cube. Rotate the cube until you enter the structure where the path is marked with an inverted triangle. This photo is under the stairs.

Weird Photo #22 – Travel!

After defeating Eddie, go to the pier, but do not get on the boat. Go to the right of the save point to find this Strange Photo.

Strange Photo #23 – After…

Once you arrive at the Lakeview Hotel and are done talking to Luara, go to the east side of the 1st Floor and enter Room 104. The photo is in the nightstand drawer.

Weird Photo #24 – You better leave…

Progress through steps Lakeview Hotel Jukebox Puzzle until you reach the basement. When you enter the flooded Venus Bar, turn right and you can find this Photo on the counter.

Weird Photo #25 – I Still Can’t Get It Right

After watching the Video Tape and watching the Lakeview Hotel enter the Other World, head towards the collapsing building. When you enter room 102, you will need to pull a cart past the bathroom. Before taking this cart into the hallway to proceed, go into the now open bathroom and find this Photo in the sink.

Strange Photo #26 – SHAPE STRENGTHS THE MIND

The final Strange Photo is found after being defeated. Double Pyramid Head Boss Fight. After entering the long corridor where Mary’s dialogue is located, turn right when you exit the door. Follow the metal gate all the way to the end to find the final Strange Photo.
