The Traveler King’s brother has been buried next to Britain’s largest gravestone after a fleet of Rolls-Royces accompanied him on his final journey.

Terry Collins was buried next to his brother Willy’s 37-ton marble headstone after his funeral service at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Sheffield and a lavish procession to the cemetery.

The 52-year-old was laid to rest in a platinum coffin, which was carried into the church on a red carpet, next to a giant photo of Terry in a frame of poppies.

Mourners attending the service wore T-shirts with a photo of Terry with the caption: “RIP Terry Collins ‘The Toucher’.”

The funeral procession was led by a silver Rolls Roycecomplete with fluorescent lighting and some of his favorite songs playing.

As mourners gathered around the family plot at Shiregreen Cemetery, an electronic board displayed photos of Terry, as well as poems and family tributes, while a plane flew overhead, creating the shape of a heart.

Terry died on September 25, four years after his brother Willy died during a family holiday in Mallorca, Spain, at the age of 49 in July 2020.

Terry’s family says he was never able to come to terms with his brother’s death.

Willy, who was dubbed the ‘Traveler King of Sheffield’, was buried in a 22-carat gold coffin after a lavish funeral in which he was taken in a horse-drawn carriage to his final resting place, the £200,000 marble headstone.

£200,000, 37 tonne marble headstone was the subject of controversy as the council said it breached planning permission.

The headstone, which was unveiled in March 2022, features Irish flags and two life-size statues of Willy. It also contains images of Jesus Christ and Biblical scenes.

Made of solid Carrara marble, the monument features a solar-powered jukebox playing the late Willy’s favorite tunes, as well as flashing LED lights and a life-size 6-foot statue of Willy himself.

It led to a row between the family and Sheffield City Council, which argued that the structure was in breach of planning permission.

But his family has previously threatened ‘war’ if it is torn down.

Sheffield City Council has confirmed there is no update on Willy’s grave.

Terry, who was born into a large Sheffield traveler family, is survived by his wife Kathleen and four sons; Martin, Terry, Tom and Paddy Joe. They describe him as someone who “always helped anyone and everyone.”

They added that he will be “dearly missed by everyone.”
