Paddington Bear was locked up in Cardiff for bad behaviour

Paddington fans visiting their favorite bear were left heartbroken to find him behind bars.

Cardiff Council has jailed the marmalade eater for bad behavior in the city centre.

But not his: the Paddington in question is a statue of the book and film character.

The authority said the gated St John’s Gardens were off-limits from late afternoon Monday to Saturday and all day on Sunday due to anti-social actions by others.

One customer said: “If this closed at 4pm our children from Aberdare wouldn’t be able to come down to see it.”
