Director charged after video showed him serving a beer bong to teenage girls, police say

KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WXIX/Gray News) – The principal of a Kentucky high school is facing charges after a video showed him drinking and serving alcohol to two high school students, Kenton County police said.

Anthony Procaccino, 50, the principal of Scott High School, is seen in a video on New Year’s Eve 2023 holding a beer bong while two teens, ages 16 and 17, drink alcohol from it, police said.

In the video, a man identified by police as Procaccino is seen in a room with the beer bong and cans of Truly on a table.

Police said the video was recorded at Procaccino’s home.

At the time on New Year’s Eve 2023, Kenton County police said Procaccino was the principal of Whites Tower Elementary.

The investigation into the incident took place after police said they were contacted by the mother of one of the teens in the video over the weekend of Oct. 19-20.

“This is apparently not the first time this has happened,” the mother said.

Body camera video was obtained from a Kenton County police officer who interviewed the mother.

The video is blurred to protect the mother’s identity, and her voice has also been changed.

In the video, she tells the officer that she is afraid her child will retaliate because the mother called the police.

The girls are blurred in the video because they are underage.

‘He’s a grown man in a position of power. You’re 15 *beep* years old, you’re not going to convince a man,” the mother said.

The mother also expressed concern about the revealing clothing worn by the teenage girls around the principal in the video.

A spokesperson for Kenton County Schools referred WXIX to their original statement on the matter from earlier this week.

On October 21 Kenton County School District spokeswoman Jessica Dykes said in a statement that she was aware of the investigation.

“This is a personnel matter,” she said Oct. 21, “and Cody Wolf, assistant principal at Scott High School, has been named interim principal at this time.”
