Pilot flies over Kansas City and shares message: ‘Vote’

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A little more than an hour-long flight over the Kansas City metro sent a message to residents Friday: vote.

A flight conscious flight tracker the log showed that a plane took off from Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport at 10:12 a.m. and landed an hour and seven minutes later after tracking an airborne message.

FlightAware said the Piper Aztec twin-piston aircraft was owned by ATD Pilot Training, LLC, and had a tail number of N54858.

The plane traveled around parts of the sky over Platte and Clay Counties at just under 7,000 feet.

The message comes just ten days after the 2024 general election.
