AutoZone worker dies after crash in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond neighborhood

An AutoZone employee listed as critical after being struck during a A multi-car accident in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond neighborhood died last Sunday.

Philadelphia police identified the employee as Kevin Taylor of Southwest Philadelphia.

According to the police release, Taylor was pronounced dead on October 24 after 3:30 p.m. He was struck on Oct. 20 by a speeding truck that ran a red light at Richmond and East Venango streets.

The search is on for a group of at least four teenagers accused of speeding early Sunday on Venango Street in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond neighborhood and crashing into a truck, injuring the driver. Video shows the collision caused both trucks to crash into several parked cars. Police said a white SUV followed the teens and drove to the crash site, and they may have escaped in that vehicle. #Philadelphia #news #hitandruncrash #crash

Police said a black Ram truck crashed into the victim’s white truck.

Police are now looking for four teenagers who ran a red light and are investigating whether the truck was stolen.
