Drags mother to court ‘ghar ghar ki kahani’, Cong leader Sharmila’s jibe against brother Jagan-Telangana Today

Amaravati: Flaying YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his comments about the breakup with his sister Y. S. Sharmila is “ghar ghar ki kahani” (the story of every household), Andhra Pradesh’s Congress chief on Saturday wanted to know whether dragging a mother to court justifies this sentence.

Addressing a press conference, she said that the shares of Saraswati Power and Industries, which Jagan promised to transfer to her at a later date, were never seized by the Enforcement Directorate in the former CM’s ‘quid pro quo’ cases and therefore could have been transferred for a long time. past.

Both siblings signed an MoU in 2019 under which Jagan would “out of love and affection” transfer his and his wife’s shares in Saraswati Power and Industries to his sister through a gift deed, subject to the outcome of pending cases .

However, when Jagan expressed his intention to revoke the MoU, the NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) moved in September, accusing Sharmila of illegally transferring shares of the company he and his wife Bharathi owned, in name from her and mother Vijayamma. “Jaganmohan Reddy says this happens in every household, and it is a ‘ghar ghar ki kahani’. What is ghar ghar ki kahani? Is dragging a mother to court a ghar ghar ki kahani? Is it a problem that occurs in every household? Have you no humanity? Don’t you have any feelings?” Sharmila asked with teary eyes.

She further said that despite maintaining the MoU for the past five years, she never tried to approach any court (for the settlement) or any media house for (publicity) fearing that it would tarnish the reputation of Rajasekhar’s family Reddy would affect.

Replying to comments by YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP and her uncle YV Subba Reddy that the companies in question are owned by Jagan, Sharmila called this false and said she was ready to swear on her children. Sharmila also challenged Jagan and Subba Reddy to swear on their children.

According to her, the YSR Congress achieved a huge victory in the 2019 Assembly elections thanks to the hard work of herself, her mother and many followers of her late father. ‘What did Jaganmohan Reddy do for his sister? It is not a hard fact that Jagan has wronged me and my children. God knows this. Several people know this,” said a visibly upset Congress leader.

All companies established when Rajasekhara Reddy was alive are family assets and Jagan Mohan Reddy is merely a ‘guardian’, she said in an open letter on Friday. Sharmila also stated that her father’s intention was that Jagan should divide all the holdings equally among the four grandchildren: Jagan and Sharmila, two each.
