Man in hospital after ‘serious assault’ on footpath crossing the Clydeside Expressway

A man is in hospital after a “serious assault” on a footpath crossing the Clydeside Expressway in Glasgow.

The attack happened on Friday October 25 at around 5.30pm on a footpath crossing the Clydeside Expressway.

A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

The suspect is approximately 6 feet tall, approximately 30 years old and has a medium build.

He was wearing dark clothing and had a dark-colored bicycle.

Detective Inspector Fiona MacKenzie said: “The investigation is ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed this to come forward.

“Anyone with information that could help us is asked to contact police 101 citing incident 4457 of October 25, 2024.
