With Reneé Rapp’s revenge against it Friendthe tour bus company, and Chappell Roan‘s revenge against mean photographersthe pop girl lesbians don’t play with each other. At the premiere of Olivia Rodrigo‘S Innards tour film, at another event, Roan confronted a photographer who was reportedly not very nice to the singer. “You were so disrespectful to me at the Grammys afterparty. You yelled at me at the Grammy party,” Roan scolded as she looked the photographer dead in the eyes. “Yes, I remember. You were so rude to me. And for that I deserve an apology. You need to apologize to me.” It is unclear from the video whether the photographer apologized before someone pulled Roan back to finish the photos.

As Roan’s fame increases, she sets increasingly strict limits on how she wants to be treated by photographers and fans alike. Good for her. Earlier this year at the VMAs, Roan fired back at an apparently different photographer who yelled at her on the red carpet. “This is quite overwhelming and quite frightening,” she says said later about the interaction. “I think for someone who experiences a lot of fear when people yell at you, the carpet is horrifying. And I shouted back. You can’t yell at me like that!’ She also asked fans leave her alone in public spaces, because she has more ‘stalker’ behavior and safety problems. People should listen to the singer; it’s very clear that she doesn’t forget a face, especially if you’ve been disrespectful to her.
