Cyclist identified in two-car crash in Bedford, police say

BEDFORD, Ohio – The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the disease woman who got stuck under a car and died during an accident while cycling Friday morning.

Linda K. Conger, 59, died in the crash, which occurred about 9:15 a.m. on Rockside Road near Broadway Avenue at an auto sales store, Bedford police said in a news release. Police did not say where Conger lives.

The Bedford Fire Department was called to the business after a two-car crash was reported involving a cyclist, later identified as Conger, who was pinned under one of the cars, police said.

Firefighters arrived and pronounced Conger dead at the scene, police said. They treated the two other drivers.

The accident is being investigated by the accident investigation unit, police said.
