Man arrested for allegedly threatening to blow up Ulta Beauty store, police say

(Gray News) – Authorities have arrested a Louisiana man who allegedly threatened to blow up an Ulta Beauty store in Alabama.

According to a filed complaint, 42-year-old Timothy Lincoln was allegedly overheard by an Ulta employee while talking on the phone outside the company. WRBL reports this.

During the phone call, Lincoln reportedly said, “I’m going to blow this place up!” The comment resulted in an evacuation of all store employees and customers.

Opelika officers were called to the scene and Lincoln was taken into custody.

His mugshot shows writing and markings in different colors all over Lincoln’s face. However, officials have not commented on the markings.

Lincoln is banned from Ulta for life.

Making a terroristic threat is a Class C misdemeanor under Alabama law. This crime carries a maximum prison sentence of 10 years upon conviction.
