Strictly Come Dancing judges were furious over ‘unfair’ scores, while fans noticed a familiar trend

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left confused as the judges awarded the contestants high scores – with some calling the panel ‘unfair’

Strictly Come Dancing fans expressed their disappointment on Saturday evening and criticized the judges for some of the scores they awarded to the contestants.

The BBC The show is in full swing and the remaining celebrities are entering their sixth week in the competition. Last Sunday, viewers were surprised when JB Gill found himself in the dance-off, despite a decent score of 30.

However, the judges opted to save him from sports star Paul Merson, making him the fourth person to leave the competition, joining Tom Dean, Toyah Willcox and Nick Knowles.

This weekend marks the end of another contestant’s journey on the BBC show, although they all hope their spooky performances will impress viewers at home.

However, fans were unhappy with some of the scores for routines, especially those of Wynne Evans and JB Gill, reports the mirror.

Wynne and Katya performed a salsa to Jamiroquai’s song Canned Heat and earned a score of 31, tying them with Pete Wicks and Jowita Przysta.

JB and Amy took to the dance floor for a Foxtrot to Dancing at The Moonlight and achieved a high score of 32.

People quickly started using it Tweet to criticize the judges and accuse them of scoring people too highly.

One viewer commented: “Wynne overrated IMHO. It was more like 25 or 26 and definitely not 31. Judges have the people they like and they get an extra point per judge. It seems unfair to me but it’s not a dance show anymore. “

One person chimed in, saying, “Wynne is getting overmarked again.”

Another disgruntled tweeter noted: “The points count has been all over the place this year, especially with the men… They’re all too high every week.”

“Both JB and Wynne were wildly over the top. Way too much fiddling and the loss of all technical aspects. An absolute joke,” vented another.

Someone else commented: “A 9 for that? Overmarked to keep it safe.”

One fan tweeted: “Wynne and Katya wrote too much again. Was I watching a different dance?!”

Despite scoring two points higher than last week, JB was still able to find himself in the bottom two on Sunday evening.

Discussing his dance-off experience on It Takes Two earlier this week, JB said: “I mean, we got 30! So it wasn’t like we got a bad score! Of course it’s always disappointing I guess when you get that many “There’s a lot of work put into training and of course you work hard during the week, like everyone else, only to not get the result you want, which is to move on to the next week.

The participant continued: “It’s not what you’re looking for, but the level of competition is very high this year. You can see that the standard is high, so it’s one of those things. It’s part of the show and of course, it meant I got to do the dance again.”

BBC viewers will be on tenterhooks until Sunday evening to find out if JB has pulled out all the stops to avoid a second dance-off.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday on BBC One from 6.25pm
