Georgian opposition announces protests to take place from October 27 – World

TBILISI, October 27. /TASS/. Georgia’s opposition party Coalition for Change will not recognize the results of the country’s parliamentary elections and will launch protest actions from October 27, one of the party’s leaders Elene Khoshtaria said.

“These elections were stolen; we do not want to give in to that, and we are engaging in continuous protests. This protest will be organized,” she said at a briefing. “The protest will take place in the streets from tomorrow (Sunday – TASS),” she said.

The Unity – National Movement party also does not recognize the results of the elections, party leader Tinatin Bokuchava said during a briefing.
