One fatality in a car crash in Thomson Township

The Minnesota State Patrol has reported one fatality in a car crash that occurred just after 3 p.m. on Oct. 26 in Thomson Township.

According to the report, the driver, a 41-year-old Duluth woman whose name has not yet been released, was traveling north on I-35 when her Honda Pilot lost control and went off the highway, striking several trees.

State Police have not yet released further details.
