A gym trainer was arrested by Kotwali police on Saturday, accused of kidnapping and killing a woman. During interrogation, the trainer confessed to the crime.

The incident dates back four months, when a businessman’s wife was kidnapped from Greenpark in Civil Lines. She was subsequently murdered and her remains were buried in the grounds of the Officers Club along VIP Road in the DM Compound. After the suspect’s arrest, he confessed to the kidnapping and murder.

After the confession, police, accompanied by a forensic team, arrived at the scene to exhume and recover the body. The woman’s remains were successfully exhumed around 12:30 p.m.
