TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) – Twin Falls police are investigating a shots fired incident Friday evening.

Eight officers from the Twin Falls Police Department responded to reports of shots fired on Capri Drive around 11:15 p.m. Friday, according to Twin Falls Police Sgt. Steven Gassert.

Upon arrival, officers could not find any suspects or anyone struck by the shots, Gassert said. Officers reported no injuries and no damage to nearby property.

Although Gassert confirmed shots were fired, the exact number of shots was still under investigation. Multiple callers reported a mixed number ranging from three to eight shots, according to Gassert.

A neighbor who didn’t want to be on camera said a car drove away from the scene and shell casings were strewn along the intersection with Falls Avenue.

Officers are investigating the incident and are attempting to obtain video evidence to assist the investigation.
