One dead after collision in Jasper County

JASPER COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) – One person is dead after a fatal crash in Jasper County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The collision happened on Saturday around 7:46 p.m. on Rivers Hill Rd. near Garvain Rd. about three miles north of Robertville.

The collision involved only one vehicle and there were no passengers in it.

The driver of a 2004 Nissan Sentra was traveling north on Rivers Hill Rd. when they crossed a line, they overcorrected and ran off the road. The driver then crashed into a ditch and overturned.
