Milwaukee street racing, hit-and-run; pedestrian seriously injured

Milwaukee police said a pedestrian was seriously injured early Saturday morning in a collision involving two street racing vehicles.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. near Kinnickinnic and Ellen in the city’s Bay View neighborhood. Police said the 33-year-old victim was struck while crossing the street and taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

FOX6 News learned the victim is Cara Corder, an employee of Vanguard in Bay View. The restaurant identified Corder in a Instagram post and said everyone loves her.
