Man to appear in court after vehicles were 'deliberately' set on fire in Dundee

A man is due to appear in court after vehicles were deliberately set on fire in Dundee.

Police said a 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with five incidents of deliberately setting vehicles on fire in the area.

The incidents took place between Wednesday, September 18 and Saturday, October 26, 2024 in Strathmartine Road, Charleston Drive and Prieston Road.

He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, October 28.

Officers said a report will be filed with the attorney general.
