Two men arrested after knife incident in Plymouth city centre

Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Area searches were carried out and two suspects were quickly located and arrested.

“At this time we are no longer looking for suspects in connection with this.

‘A man in his 20s, from Plymouth, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and possessing a knife or bladed article in a public place.

“A second man, also in his 20s and from Plymouth, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and threatening another with a knife or sharp pointed object in a public place. Both currently remain in custody police custody.”

Officers have called on witnesses to come forward.
