Notable South Indian filmmaker and actor R Parthiban recently met Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in Mangalagiri city. Images of their meeting have been circulating on social media, sparking curiosity among fans eager to know the reason behind the meeting.

According to reports, Parthiban visited the Deputy CM at his office in Mangalagiri on Sunday, October 27. The meeting is said to be a courtesy call as both men are considered prominent figures in Tollywood.

During the visit, filmmaker-actor Pawan Kalyan presented a variety of souvenirs including idols, books and other gifts. Official images of the meeting were shared on the Jana Sena Party’s Instagram account. The accompanying caption, written in Telugu, roughly translates as follows: “Famous film actor Sri Parthiban had a respectful meeting with Deputy Chief Minister of the state Sri Pawan Kalyan Garu. The meeting took place at the Deputy Chief Minister’s camp office in Mangalagiri on Sunday evening.”

In the photos, Parthiban is seen in an all-black outfit consisting of a black shirt and black pants, while Pawan Kalyan opted for a traditional kurta-pajama. Fans flooded the comments section with fire and heart emojis, expressing their admiration and support for both men.

R Parthiban was last seen as an actor and director in the film Teenz, which was released in July this year. In the film, he plays the lead role alongside young actors like Kritika Iyer, Prashitha Nazir and others. Teenz is produced by Ranjith Dhandapani, Caldwell Velnambi, Dr Bala Swaminathan, Dr Pinchi Srinivaasan and Radhakrishnan Parthiban under the banner of Bioscope Dreams LLP and Akira Productions. The film’s music is composed by D Imman, with cinematography by Gavemic U Ary and Jaya Krishna Gummadi.
