Police are investigating a fatal early morning car crash in Altoona

Altoona police and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a fatal car crash that occurred early Sunday morning.

While details are limited at this time, Altoona police said in a Facebook post that the crash involved one vehicle and occurred around 4 a.m. near 10th Avenue and 9th Street.

It is not yet known how many people were in the car at the time of the accident.
