A young banker, identified as Afia, has shared a heartbreaking story of her disturbing marital experiences with her pastor husband.

In a shocking interview on Secret TV with Pastor Prince, Afia revealed how she financed their wedding due to her husband’s financial constraints but subsequently faced neglect and betrayal.

She narrated how their relationship started, explaining how they met in the Achimota Forest and started dating, which led to her pregnancy and their subsequent marriage.

“We were in a relationship for about a year. And later he went to my family to say he wanted to marry me. But before that, when we were in a relationship, he got me pregnant. And because he’s a preacher, I can’t keep the pregnancy until he’s married to me.

“And because he doesn’t do anything other than his ministry, he doesn’t have much finances. I’m a banker, so I organized some money. And then we went to my family, made a list and bought everything with my money,” she said.

Despite her financial support, including paying for their engagement and household expenses, she said her husband failed to make a significant contribution.

She said she even took out a mortgage to cover their rent.

The situation worsened when Afia’s younger sister reported that her husband had made inappropriate advances toward her.

“My husband didn’t even do anything to support himself, sometimes when he was in the house. I expected my husband to help me take care of the child. But he wouldn’t do that. So I went and got my sister to come and support the home.

“After a while, my younger sister told me that if I wasn’t around, my husband would try to have an affair with her. I didn’t believe her because I loved him,” she said.

Afia narrated how she later discovered conversations that showed her husband never loved her.

‘Later I realized something strange was going on. I heard him talking to some people and saying, “My wife. “I don’t love her and all that, and even the people I brought to marry her were strangers,’ I heard all that,” she said.

Adding to her misery, Afia revealed that her husband sold her car without her knowledge.

Despite her efforts to support him, he continued to neglect his responsibilities, leaving her to manage the household and child alone.

“It doesn’t happen every time that I get money to arrange something. There is a woman selling food. Sometimes I’m going to credit that woman’s food. And this man came to eat without asking where I got the money from. Sometimes I call my friends to ask for money and then I cook for him. It’s too much,” she complained.

In her emotional plea, she expressed her wish that her husband would remarry her properly if he truly loves her, highlighting the sacrifices she made out of love and the need for him to take responsibility.

“I don’t trust my husband, he is capable of a lot. I just did all those things out of love.

“If he claims he loves me, he should find money and then remarry me. Let’s go to his family. “I want to know his family,” she said.

After hearing the story, an angry Pastor Prince described the man as “evil” and a liar.

He also lambasted Afia, accusing her of rushing into marriage out of “stupid love.”

He further advised women not to “take on the role of men” by paying their own bride price.
