Ogun Govt Suspends Teacher, Questions Principal Over Student’s Death

Ogun State Government, through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, has suspended a teacher suspected of beating and punishing a Master Monday Arijo, an SS2 student of Obada Grammar School, Obada, Idi-emi, which reportedly led to his death.

The incident, which took place on Friday, also led to the teacher’s immediate arrest. The principal of the school, Mrs. Tamrat Onaolapo, was promptly questioned for allowing corporal punishment to be used against the student, contrary to the established rules and regulations in the school. stands.
