Daily death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon approaches 20 – Ministry of Health

BEIRUT, October 27. /TASS/. Nineteen people were killed and 108 others were injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon over the past day, the Lebanese Health Ministry’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center said.

The largest number of casualties were reported from the southern areas near Sidon and Tyre, where seven people were killed and 48 injured. Ten people were killed in Nabatieh and 55 were hospitalized with injuries. In Baalbek-Hermel, two people were killed and five others were injured.

The total death toll from Israeli bombing and artillery strikes since the outbreak of the current escalation in October 2023 has reached 2,772, with 12,468 people injured.
